CLIENT BASE:
Karen has strong experience in the medical and health sector, including the fields of management, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, recreation therapy and has worked with a variety of populations. Karen loves people and being part of a holistic team. Her love for the human body and its amazing and intricate abilities, powers her skills to care for others with excellence.
Treating first time visitors to massage is always a thrill for Karen, along with tending to repeat clients and making a difference to all. Karen enjoys all hands on modalities whether it be deep tissue treatments, general relaxation massage or specific, low back, hip, neck, TMJ (jaw) work, to name a few.
EXPERIENCE & CREDENTIALS:
Karen is a veteran Therapist at World Health, having worked at Edgemont since 2008.
She is licensed and registered, having completed the 1100 hour program through Mount Royal University, in Calgary. This reputable program boasts of having a strong orthopaedic knowledge base. She maintained perfect grades and was Valedictorian of her class. Karen has experience in owning a company and understands the need for efficient and effective care. When not providing active care for her clients, Karen loves to spend time with family and friends, watching kids hockey, scuba diving and 'attempts' to ski, wakeboard and surf.
