Beth Barberree, MA, BA
Massage Therapist, Clinical Director, Owner

Beth has been a practicing massage therapist since 1995, focused on outcome-oriented deep tissue care.

She has built and sustained a successful practice, joining the massage therapy department at Edgemont World Health in 2000. Now the owner of Massage at the Club, Beth ensures the clinic upholds its reputation of providing massage therapy care that produces the best possible patient outcomes. She is very selective when bringing on fantastic massage therapists to be part of our Massage at the Club team. These individuals are chosen specifically for their technical skills and knowledge, and also their capacity to customize an appropriate care plan for each patient.

Beth has a long history of championing high standards of practice and professional ethics in the massage therapy field. She has held a number of high level executive positions over the years on both provincial and national volunteer Boards. Most recently, she co-founded and is currently the President of the Alberta Support Council for Massage Therapy, which was struck in the spring of 2016 to ensure regulation of massage therapy in Alberta is established consistent with the current national standards of practice. Her volunteer work has provided the opportunity to network closely with colleagues and other health professions in the province and across the country.

Beth has been a full member in good standing with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta since 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary in 2011, and most recently a Master of Arts in Health Leadership from Royal Roads University in Victoria.

She continues to volunteer on various local and international committees that support high standards of education, research, and practice in the massage therapy profession.
